WIX Outage

Tue Dec 30, 2008 2:27 pm

Apparently WIX was down because of another server issue...

As I understand it, we have a new host now...

I will let Scott and Ryan fill in the blanks.

whew!

Yes, all I got for 12 hours give or take was, "critical error, unable to connect to database". I was thinking, not again.

I was just so close to signing up for methadone.

My wife was just wondering why I had so much time to finish all her "honey-do's". Don't EVER let this happen again!

I never tell Bea when the computer is down. I just sit there staring at the screen and nodding my head as though something was actually working.
If she discovers something is amiss, its YARD WORK!!!!!

Dudley,
It says your on the east coast, so I have to ask, What type of yard work ? isn't under several feet of that white stuff called snow ?

As for me, while WIX was down, I loaded about 400 rounds of .223 and 200 rounds of 9mm. Got to feed the toys somehow..................

I just mainly sat on the floor, rocking and shivering, muttering "nowix nowix nowix" to myself until the medication took hold... I'm much better now, the WIX DTs having run their course, and a fresh infusion of WIX has helped...

Weather here is cold but no snow yet. Actually, now that I've purchased a rather large and expensive snow blower, odds are dead on it will never snow here again :-)

Until yesterday, I had been out of town, out of touch, & enjoying peace & quite at the beach with no internet since before Christmas. When I tried to check in & get caught up yesterday morning I also got the critical failure message. I figured you guys had been really bad as mentioned before, & Scott got really pee ooed, & pulled the plug. Now I see with all the edited threads created while I was gone, that some of you were bad. Wow imagine that! Sorry I missed out on being bad with yall! :D Glad WIX is back up & glad to be back. :pirate I would rather be back at the beach with access to WIX though. 8)
