Jack, that is awesome. So those were all based at that field? Where are they now?

The FM-2 is with John Dimmer for sale on Courtesy. The F6F-3 was wrecked see other thread. I don't know the 2 SNJ's N number. Jack also had a DC-3 which he had to taxi off the airport and down the road, turn around and use the road for part of the runway (oh the good ol days!)to have enough lenght, an Otter and a T-28B (project that was sold ). Jack also restored helos and gliders. Ever notice the Waco glider in the AFM

Could one of the SNJs been an SNJ-6? The one parked next
to the Wildcat in the 1st picture has a later model rear hood
(T-6F / SNJ-6 or later), and I can see "69C" as part of the
N number. Naturally, it could be an SNJ-5 with a retro-fitted /
later model rear hood....

registry....
