 a little embarrassing but funny.... as a kid in the early 70's i built an avenger model, monogram brand if i'm not to senial. anyway, i remember danged near pulling my hair out trying to close the gap of the greenhouse rear canopy where it meets the gun turret. well, naturally, i ruined the turkey & it was later hit by flak via my bb gun or had a firecracker shoved in that pain in the butt turret / canopy gap, only later to find out that the gap was correct.

That's pretty much exactly how it looked when I saw it a couple of weeks ago, other than all the fabric was still in silver. I'm guessing that this pic was taken before the surfaces were recovered but it still can't be very old. Not sure of the current owner eitherj (registred to Russcon LLC) other than I was told he was out of Scottsdale and the airplane is for sale.

The pic is about six months old. The owner escapes me right now but I'll find out tomorrow.
