Can anyoen got the former Carswell and take pictures or do you have to get any special permission to enter there?

Mike Henniger's site "Aerial Visuals" has a list and locations of the static aircraft on display at Carswell.

At Carswell everything is behind the gate. It used to be just outside but all that changed @ 8 years ago.
You have to get on base first.
I have asked at the gate and was told no.
A visit to the Public information office "may" get you in for a visit...unlikely.

Yep, nowdays it is hard to get to see any AFB airparks. My cousin was in town from Alaska and getting onto the base to pick him up was really tough. Taking him back, not so bad. But then it was after dark and too late to take pictures.
