Back in the late 70's to the late 80's I went to lots of airshows in New England and the New England Air Museum and Owls Head Museum most every year and Oshkosh in 84 and 91. I have lots of photos and back then had the patience to wait for that split second when a bystander was behind the landing gear or just out of frame. I have a scanner I need to learn to use. So any requests for time and place or type?

Oh heck, as for me I would enjoy any of the older pictures.
Especially if you have any of Texas Raiders before the turrets. IIRC, for a while there TR's belly turret was a half globe stuck to the bottom.
Or any of the planes that are now gone.

Here is one I have of TR back in 1972. This was at an air show at Amon Carter Field (Greater Southwest Airport) that no longer exists except for a very short piece of runway. Ztex was also at the same show.

I say take a day off of work and scan 'em all! You can never have too many pictures on this forum.

You are a better photographer than I Connery, thanks.
I am pretty sure this is the same year, but down in Harlingen:
See what I mean about the photography.

Well, considering I was only 7 at the time, I'll have to admit that all of the pictures taken at the airshow were done by my dad, who is or was a professional photographer at the time and worked at Vought in the photo lab.
