I just found this photo on the net claimed to be of B-25 N87Z and wonder if anyone of our forumites can confirm it? Gary1954, come out wherever you are...

Scott Thompson's, B-25 Mitchell in Civil Service, identifies N87Z as Ser. 44-86873. The only picture of it in the book shows it in a civilian scheme it likely wore shortly after being sold to the market in early 1958. That photo clearly shows the painted over bombardier nose with the slight extension as in the picture in your post. Scott states the aircraft crashed in the Bahamas in 1982.

TJ, that is N87Z I have photos taken just prior to its crash as specified in the Bahamas Islands, she was supposed to have crashed on a drug run. The photos I have of her shows the civil registration as NL87Z, all of the glass in the nose had been painted over with OD paint. Sorry for the delay, been away from the puter for a while and am just now catching up.
