The Collings Foundation UH-1E will be doing experience flights on 11-8,9 in conjunction with their Salute to Viet Nam Veterans. Saturday night they will also be screening " In the Shadow of the Blade ". Those of you in the DFW area come on out and see us !

Thanks for the heads up Rick. Since I missed out on getting a ride in Palestine back in April I'm going to try and make it to this. Since there is no Waco airshow this weekend I was planning on coming up to the DFW area to visit the Vintage Flying Museum/FAC Museum out at Meacham. But now, a ride in a Huey is something I don’t want to miss out on!

Are you going to be at Cavanaugh Saturday?

I'm planning on it. Look forward to seeing you.

I'll be there Sunday. Have stuff to do in Lancaster at the CAF DFW wing on Saturday.

Why don't you guys come down and stop by? Would be cool to see a UH-1 sitting next to one of the CWAM Mi-2's. :)

Mostly sunny for this weekend too. It was cloudy back in March when it was at Frontiers of Flight. It didn't stay long though.

Heard there would be a Mustang there. Is the P-51 back, or is another one visiting? Haven't seen it there for over a year. Same with the Saber.

Wife and I are riding over for the Run to the Texas Vietnam Vet Memorial on Saturday, so since we will be in the area I'll probably try and make it up to Addison.

Here's the information for the Run if anyone is interested

Cozmo,

With reference to the Addison Bond vote, and the future of the Cavanaugh Flight Museum, there is still some hope:
