The one on the right.

One or two other Mustangs are already going to be there anyway.

The left one. I figure I could keep it running longer!

I would take the Corsair. It seems to me rom what I have read that any of the Navy fighters are easier to fly than the Mustang. The Navy really seemed to insist on relatively easy flight characteristics knowing that the planes were going to be flown by low time pilots where landing on a carrier was going to dangerous enough without having to overcome any quirks in handling or operation. I once read somewhere that one pilot said that in reality the Hellcat was a good trainer for transition to the SNJ!

Easy one...Corsair. Only problem is, at today's prices, the lotto might not make it possible

(oh, and my brother would be in formation with the Mustang).

I'd take the Corsair. I'm in Texas. It's hot here. Air-cooled fighters do better in the heat than liquid-cooled fighters. Plus, there's nothing like the sound of an R-2800 at full throttle! 8)

Cheers!

Interesting Corsair pic, small fuselage insignia.

My lotto money would be better spent than going to a silly airshow.

A Corsair? Now I know you must be from CT! No....when I win LOTTO I will head to Kalamazoo and make an offer on their F6F Hellcat, get it flying and bring it back to Long Island. I'd see if the guys at WOLI would want to manage it for me? :)

Maintenance could be pretty high with curves like that!
Oiling it everyday would be pretty costly and time consuming.
You might not even ever get something that nice out of the hanger due to the extreme maintenance aspects.
I'D BE WILLING TO HELP, HOWEVER.
