Walk around of Wendover Airfield!

Here is a cool little "tour" we had developed for the Wendover Airfield Museum. Play around a little bit - there are buttons that let you see the displays and the interior of some of the buildings.

An awsome place to visit. I always stop flying or driving.

As Bob Hope called it, "Leftover Field"

yup - and Bing Crosby called it "Tobacco Road with slot machines"! And Dick Parsons (Manhatten Project) said that nothing seperated Wendover from Hell but a piece of barb wire. But then Gen. Tibbetts called it the "Training camp for the atomic age" in an article he wrote after the war.
