Thanks to the Cavanaugh Crew for babysitting the Collings Foundation TA-4 during and after Hurricane Ike. We got her home to Ellington Field today in great shape ! She was wheels up at Addison at 1315 and in the EFD pattern at 1415 after making several practice approaches down at Galveston.

Rick,
Good to hear that she (and her crew) got home safe.
I'll see if I can get Doug to arrange a "why he likes his job" meeting next time you are up this way.
Julian.

Rick - very happy to hear that the TA-4 has safely returned home. For those of us who harbor a remote fantasy of trying to sign up for the 2-day program to fly in the Skyhawk, can you give us a rough ballpark figure of what that might set someone back?
I look forward to seeing her at an air show in 2009.

To do a training flight in the TA-4 a 7500.00 donation can be made to offset expenses. We'd love to have you down. No one who has flown her has been disappointed !

Thanks, Rick!
That's something I really would like to be able to do once. I am sure it would an unforgettable experience.
