P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

If you search on Google Earth around the Nellis Range, you will find several more, in similar circumstances (but without the benefit of pavement under them in many cases). there are also a couple of F-8s and even an RF-84 (but in much poorer condition).

Cheers,
Chuck

If anyone feels like going on an Easter egg hunt feel free to use this map as a starting point...
http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/LocationDos ... 034#TheMap
...as I don't have any of the Nellis range birds in the Locator. Remember right click on the map for coordinates.

However, for Eglin there are a "few" to be noted...
http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/Locator.php#TheResults

Here are some F-100s, F-4s, T-33s and possibly an A-7 in Idaho...

I know I have found others recently, I just don't remember where to look them up.

Mike

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.
