Every week I edit an interview from EAA's Timeless Voices of Aviation oral history program for an email newsletter called "eHotline" that goes out every Friday to EAA members who have signed up for it.
This week's featured video happens to be an interview with a fellow from Scotland named Bill Martin, who enlisted in the RAF during WWII and became a Lancaster flight engineer with 57 Squadron, 5 Group Bomber Command. Bill had never been on an airplane flight when he joined his crew! He finished the war with 30 ops in six months time.
In any case, whenever the featured video happens to be warbirds related, I'll post a link to it here in the Hangar. You do not have to be an EAA member to view the Timeless Voices videos. Here's the link to Bill's interview:

Hope you enjoy it!
