there is a reason you can't easily link individual photos - it stops extra bandwidth being sucked from my host that I have no control over.

Michael - the Everts C-46 shots are not a2a unfortunately, but taken from the ground - they just have the "air" of a2a :lol:

There are are ton more warbird and older types in the albums plus of course boxes and boxes of stuff dating back to the late 70's sitting at my house in a "huge-never-ending-scanning-project-that-I-never-seem-to-be-able-to-devote-any-time-to" :(

and thanks also Bluedharma - our paths have still not crossed.

ah - 'good' to see others in the same dilemma....... I wish I could scan those thousands of warbird slides soonest - I guess I have to win the jackpot in the lottery and stop working.....

You bet they do sir.......One one of them, the wheels and flaps are up...where you close to the airport ?

The settings must have been something.

the ones taken at Anchorage are from a small bank, maybe 30 feet high, at he edge of the runway outside the perimeter fence.

Both the C-46s and DC-6s often keep low with the gear tucked up depending on loads and conditions

I have seen a great deal of Skippycage's work, and he does a fantastic job......I am not sure if our paths have crossed, but would enjoy a chance to buy you a soft drink up at Perfect Landing and talk air photos.
