I am sorry I missed being there, but I watched it closely on all of the web postings.
Sounds like there were some pretty great races this year.
I plan on being there next year.

Absolutely spectacular photos...maybe the best I've seen on this forum to date. Thanks for taking the time to post them. I enjoyed Sunday there with my son who had as good a time as his dad did.

Great shots, Chris! I was there, but really stressing without a good camera along! Here's a few of Rare Bear "after". She was leaving a pretty good blood trail as they towed her back in.

VERRRY NICE. I hate to show my ignernce but I didn't know there were 3 airworthy Tigercats. Much less 3 in race condition.

the others were visitors...they did do a photo flight together however, very cool.

dumb question- 2nd picture from top (Tigercat), what's is going on with the top of the fuselage right behind the passenger canopy? Is that normal, an optical illusion, or is something bent there?

I don't think it's bent. It looks like an illusion due to shadows and reflection.

No it isn't. That is John Sessions. Now that you mention it, he does kind of resemble Steven Spielberg.
