The red and white tail seen above the left wing on the first picture, looks a lot like Thunderchicken's, who was owned and flown by Pete Howard and Dave Manire.

Do you by any chance, have a shot showing that particular airplane?

My first T-6 ride was in Thunderchicken, and Pete Howard was the pilot.

I have some photos of the 'Chicken in Brookshire, TX where it was based.
