Dear Sir:

I was a glider pilot during WWII and am currently a military glider historian. I was told that the wheels on the BT-13 are the same wheels that
were installed on the Waco CG-4A cargo glider. It used Hayes wheel assembly (Part No. G-3-1A), Tube 27” SC Type (Part No. AN-I-14) and Casing
27” SC – 8 ply (Part No. AN-I-14), all GFE (Government Furnished Equipment) to manufacturer. Would you please confirm that the BT-13 used
this same wheel, tube and casing, or some other type. An information you might have on this subject would be greatly appreciated. I look forward
to your response. Thanks in advance.

27SC tires were used on the T-6 and the P-51 as well, so at least the tires and tubes are common. P-51 and T-6 definitely have different wheels (the brakes are drums on the T-6 and multi-disc on the P-51).
