I believe that mustang is N7551T ex- FAD 1920 that was restored for Selby Burch and then was bought by Bob Jepson who had it painted as "He!!-er Bust" now owned by John Sessions...

TBMs two and three are both owned by WIXers. The second one is with Helldivers. The third one is BuNo. 91436 under restoration with Charlie Cartledge in Ohio. See here:

http://www.warbirdregistry.org/avengerr ... 91436.html

Since there are no photos of it on the registry, here are two. They are a few years old...it is now painted.

I vaguely remember being there about '89 or '90. I was only 8 or 9, but I do remember Colling's B-24 sitting outside. It seemed like there were several TBM's sitting together outside, all sprayers or tankers. Also, seemed like there were a bunch of A-4's sitting together as well.

Does that sound right to anyone?

N4272A was still there in 2006 when I looked in on Reilly's operation. I probably have a photo somewhere.

Are you sure this was 1997? The Collings TBM was in New England by then - as it spent the last years of restoration at Nate Mayo's shop in Harvard, MA. I would think it was 1987-88-or 89.

That photo does fill a niche in the history of the plane. I've seen the shots of it in Mesa and in MA, but nothing right after it's "attempted" ferry flight which ended with it bellying into a beanfield after an engine failure. This shot was shortly after it was trucked back I figure.

The B-25 behind the Mustang is Tri-State Warbird Museum's "Axis Nightmare".

Thanks for the info team!
It's good to know that they are all being looked after and that two of them are in the "Family"!
I did search through the forum of the reg's and found some pictures of N9569Z and N4172A in their haydays. The pictures made me want to take up model making again!

It's an ex-FAD (Dominican) F-51 - former Swedish AF - will have to check files to 'nail' the ID

I helped out a lot on the restoration of the Collings TBM. I got involved about 1991 after getting a ride in the B-17, 909. The airplane was at Mayo's in MA then. Very little if any restoration was done in Kissimmee. I helped with the move from Mayo's shop to Fitchburg, MA (about 15 or 20 miles by road!) and that was about 1996. I always thought that it never seemed to get the attention it deserved as a restoration. Everything in it works including the turret. I helped them find some rubber boots for control rod feedthroughs at the firewall. Found them in Hemmings, they were still the original GM part number.
