According to Aeroplane Monthly all 4 have all moved to the new Gosshawk facility in Phoenix.. Including NX43JE .

Excellent! A trip to Falcon Field is definitely in order now. Now if they would just get that 262 down here...

Oscars are going to Casa Grande south of Phx

I read that the Oscars are going to Casa Grande south of Phx to a new facility being built for GossHawk there. I talked to Mr. Goss back in Nov. and he mentioned the new facility but he didn't say that they would be putting together the Oscars there.

I had heard Gosshawk was moving to Casa Grande but, when I spoke to them, it seemed they were not expecting it to be for some time. Sounds like maybe they got the ball rolling faster than expected. I'll check into it when time permits. Casa Grande is still close enough for a short road trip.

Whats the latest on the Oscars? Any closer to flying or are they still having difficulties?

Hi all

Stories I have read say they have stored the 3 uncompleted aircraft and are evaluating the first one to asses whats needed with an outside consultant and then rebuilding what needs doinng and moving on with the others from there. The first one is apparently sold and the next three will be finished and sold on from there once No1 is tested and delivered.

Don't have a clue as to the price but I think I read that the first Oscar was purchased by Jack Erickson for his collection at Tillamook.

Price is listed on the Web at 1.3Mil
Think it would have been less

Hi

Just to update - I just saw a reference to the price of the remaining Oscars being $800,000 USD - I guess thats fair considering what has gone into building one - I would just make sure all the glitches are sorted first.

Anyone have an update on the Oscars?

Someone mentioned that Jack Erickson purchased #1, what happened to the remaining 3?

I didn't find anything at all about them on the gosshawk webpage.

The Tillamook Air Museum's web site has indicated (for more than a month) that their Oscar is "Coming Soon", with a picture that may/may not be their's...
