This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Does anyone know anything about it? I was there a little while ago, and the main building was closed, but the aircrat were still thre to walk around. I was all alone. It felt like a ghost town air museum.

I was out there about a year ago and they had a sign up that they were renovating the musuem. There were poeple working inside that day (it was a Friday Afternoon) doing what looked like boxing up of the exhibits It was an interesting collection of stuff, all jets if I remember correctly, wiht a few rare types. I thought it was really interesting how accesible the aircraft were, no barriers or ropes to keep you away. You probaly also noticed what I noticed which was the fact that the elements are taking there toll.
I think I say something about the musuem may be moving to Langley but can't locate the article I think I saw that in.

Yeah, they need some TLC. Very odd place. But cool at the same time.
