Hot Stuff is based at Mount Comfort, which is where the Indy airshow is held. So she did indeed make it. Just via towbar and tug.

I saw a vid of Mt. Comfort, and it looks like Dean made a pass or two in his Hun. Did he land or just make a pass or two?

The HIGHLY elusive Dean Cutshall did fly a few passes in his beautiful F-100F Super Sabre around the Noon time frame on Saturday only. He did not land.

I am sorry I could not be there to see it. Would love to some day.

PV2 "Hot Stuff" was in attendance as the aircraft is based there. Last July an engine seized and after the winter of replacing and accessory swap over with an unpresserved engine, that one seized after 3 hrs of ground runs. The later is out for overhaul in Idaho.

So we were on display for tours with a large dose of warbird reality. We are hoping to have the engine back within a month and have a Labor day weekend of heavy maintenance for the annual and inspections.

Best regards,

Johnny Gearpin

Pretty accurate, from what I have written down. Might have missed an L-17, but that's about it
