Big twin engine, twin tail job over Gainesville, TX today???

Sat Aug 23, 2008 10:07 pm

About 9:30-ish this morning, I was driving south on IH-35 just south of Gainesville, TX, and I happened to spot a large, twin engine, twin tail aircraft on a northbound course, flying parallel to the interstate, a mile or two to the east. Rather than paying attention to my driving, I watched it in my mirrors, and it made a turn to the west over Gainesville, then I lost sight of it. It was too big to be a Twin Beech or Electra, and too far away for me to make out any markings or determine what color it was (looking almost straight into the sun wasn't helping, either). B-25? Lodestar? 'Poon? Anyone have any ideas? Buehler? Buehler??
