I know this will be easy for the right person, but can someone ID this patch? It came from a local vet who flew P-47 and P-51 aircraft. All were named "Cutie," either I, II or III. His name is Ivan Keatley.

Thanks!

kevin

I've got some photos of him.
BTW Cutie was also named "Ivan the Terrible"
He had 2 kills flying a P-51 March 1945

Thanks, Jack! He just gave us his insignia, photos, etc. He also included a hand-carved model of his P-51 done by his crew chief during the war, along with one done by his wife- the original "Cutie." They are moving, and no one wanted his stuff. :( We were happy to preserve it for him and to ultimately display it.

Any add'l photos would be great! Did you get my e-mail yesterday?

kevin

FlightJacket.com says the 82nd's patch was this:

http://www.flightjacket.com/store/detail.aspx?ID=440

Are they full of it?

I can't see the picture at work so I'm just going by the name!

Ahhhhh... take a look at home. The patch looks different than the one on FlightJacket.com and LittleFriends.com, so I was a bit confused. Let me know what you think!
