Sat Aug 09, 2008 8:34 pm

Take off from Tacoma and landing at Boeing field in the Collings Foundation B-25. Filmed in HD from the cockpit. Turn it up - sound is awesome!

THIS IS A LARGE QUICKTIME FILE - 200 MB!

God, I love this B-25. I worked with the crew that got it flying again out of beaver. Randy, Ernesto, and a few other guys. They were all cool, and it was awesome to work on that thing.

Cool video, what kind of camera did you film that with?

I've never flown in a B-25, but I had always heard that the sound was defening. The sound on that video was not very loud at all - much quieter than I expected!

Filmed with a RED One digital cinema camera.

The sound is deafening - we just pulled down the gain on the mic so it was not blowing out the audio. My assistant and I are behind the camera both wearing ear protection.

Awesome, wow, you have a RED one! That's a very expensive, and exotic piece of gear! How do you like it? You must be a professional videographer to get something like that!

Any thought of putting your videos on Blu-ray and selling them?

Thanks!

Yes, I was commissioned by the Collings Foundation to film and we are producing a DVD. The DVD will soon be available for purchase through the Collings Foundation.

Nice! Are they going to be SD DVD, or HD Blu-ray?

Whenever they are officially on sale, be sure to post the link and ordering info here, as I'm sure there are many of us who will buy it!
