Do you have any pictures and what's the status of the B/C Mustang?

First engine runs were done last week. A lot of work remains before first flight.

Sorry,
no pictures of the Mustang. Next week is the bomber event (Aug 16 - Aug 17).
Looks like I will just miss that.
The aircraft that I saw were great, and the museum staff were very nice.

Any future plans on repainting the P-40E? How about paint it up in John Landers markings! :D

We will never change the markings or paint job on the P-40E. That's probably the oldest paint scheme on any P-40 in history! Been that way for 38 years! It's the RAF 112 Shark Squadron in North Africa.

We're actually pretty close to flying the mustang.... We had John Maloney, Bob Nightengale and Tom Camp come up and bang away on it and got A LOT of work done on it. We ran the engine and taxied it around. It's close, but we still have some work to do.

JCP...have you flown the parrot head yet? Any inflight photos available to post, if so? I too just love that scheme.

Thanks either way...

Yea...I've flown the Parrot Head a lot this season. There was actually quite a bit of Air to Air in Warbirds Digest a few months back. I'd post a picture but don't have an account to do so. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you some pictures.

If you can locate a Jan/Feb 2008 Warbird Digest, there are some nice inflight shots.

Has a paint scheme been chosen for the P-51B/C yet?

Glad to hear that there are no planned paint scheme changes for the E! That would be a crime! One request.... forget PC... bring back "Sneak Attack"!!! LOL! Hope you guys are doing well!

In 1988 at the Reno Air Races, I saw a P-40 with "Sneak Attack" on the rudder...was this one of your birds, John-Curtiss? I loved that art!

Anyone got a photo of both sides?
