Good show Jack! Surely Scott will poop a pink twinkie with excitement at the site of a Razorback from his Pop's WWII fighter group. Any idea what squadron?

ERRRGGGHHH....GRUUUUNNNNT... SHAZAM!!! Darn, it's not pink! Wait it's not a twinkie either. Heck, it is one amazing ho ho, though!

Jack, you are a SuperStar! So that's either from the 58th or 60th FS. The 60th was moved deep into Burma to a base in Nansin while the 58th not so deep and the 59th was moved to Assam, India. In Burma, the 60th set records for the most sorties flown as they were closer to the front and the 58th had more maintenance issues. Shortly thereafter, the 33rd was transitioned into P-38's and in March of '45, the 33rd was officially designated a Twin Engine Fighter Group.

Thanks, Sir Jack. Hope you can find more!

May solo this week so I have an "appointment" with Pop. I'll ask him for more details! 8)
