B-24 Consolidated Mess ID Please

Thu Jul 31, 2008 8:02 pm

Greetings
I have not been able to get to a PC these past two weeks Due to that Vac Deal. Anyway I got to spend some time with a Inlaw and we both share a interest in War Birds. His Father (Billy Ferguson, Sports writer for one of the Big Papers in Chicargo ) Served in WW2 as a Ball Turrent Gunner on a B-24 J called Consolidated Mess . He was based on the Coast of Alaska. Can anybody help in ID on this Bird ? I have been told that quite a few B-24's were named that. As Always thanks toall that respond .
