Aviation history in South east Florida

OK team, "We" are off to Florida next week. We are driving from Miami to Vero Beach and spending a week there and then "Winging it" for a few days befor heading back to MIA. We won't be heading in land to see "The mouse house" so a trip to see Chuck is out of the question :cry:
Any idears were I can get an aircraft fix in that area? We might get up to Canaveral cos the Mrs likes the tour so I might get to th VAC.
Any help would be appreciated.
