I was lucky enough to be in the UK when the above happened.

I did a short news item for Fence Check

http://www.fencecheck.com/news/DC-3_Pas ... in_the_UK/

I had to keep politics out of the item but here I know that doesn't count

anyway it makes my blood boil to see the CAA (campaign against aviation) relent to every stupid new EEC directive, when most of the other EU members simply ignore them and say "why bother"

Come to Northern Canada!

Buffalo Airways still operates a daily scheduled run between Hay River and Yellowknife on the DC3, about 45 mins each way.

Pardon me while I rant explosively

F-ING GREEDY CLAIM LAWYERS will legislate the world to death!
They have no common sense, inflatable air chute on a DC-3?? It's only like 3 feet down, and about half that if it had to belly land.

I know they are working on a way to sue GOD, or at least mother nature, for the various disasters they have presumably caused.

I am not saying all, but the few that CLAIM to be doing it for humanity and really do is for $$$ & €€€.

/rant
Life is a risk, we should be thankful for how safe it is, but not be complacent. You never know when some bizzare event will cause you injury.
