Our B-25J just sold and should be out of the EVG Museum in the next few weeks and start being preped for it's journey to it's new home.
I can't tell you exactly where but it's going to the land of dingos and shrimp on the barby and will be joining some other heavy props. You can figure the rest out
I'm glad it's getting the h*ll outa of EVG and back in the air but am sure
going to miss her!!!

Hey Jack,
Maybe if they ferry her there you can go along. Last B-25 that flew there had a TV special made about the flight. OH, make sure paul hogan is not stowed away on board, I heard he is hiding from the Aussie version of the IRS.

What more redundancy do you need ? 2 engines, 2 props, 4 mags, 2 carbs, 2 generators, and as far as frills, I am sure if you ask they will be glad to supply you with all the fosters, cheetos and penthouse mags you need.

I already volunteered to fly with them to Austrailia! Crash told me this at the airshow but I was sworn to secrecy at the time. She's going to a very good home but I sure hate to see her leave the US!! At least it's out of EVG, so maybe it won't get rammed into on a regular basis! I'm deaf from the experience but I sure enjoyed flying it it!

And here I thought Brian would buy it for me as a present!

Jack,

do you have any pictures of your B25J for us downunder to salivate about?

Great news from down here's point of view, the last one was a loss to us.

regards

Mark Pilkington

Jack, you're welcome aboard "Barbie III" anytime... if you don't mind slumming it with us "solid nosers."

Think of it as a good reason to escape the rainy NW in the winter!

If one was to fly it down there, I have a custom-made 500 gallon fuel tank that fits into the bomb bay which was made for another trans-pacific B-25 flight and which needs a new home.
