Well, As luck would have it I'm going to be in central NY on the 12th and 13th so I want to go to the Geneseo show. This will be my first time and I will probably only make it on the 12th.

I'm looking forward to seeing the P-40s but does anybody have any insight as to what might be worth hunting for?

I have been away from the wix for a while cause I lost my job (company was bought out), then got rehired (with the new firm) then a complete change of career from Ad guy to new products guy (sheesh!)

I'm still "lost" but I need this trip to get some fresh warbird oil on my hat. It soaks right into yer brain...

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,

When planning a trip you should always check the Locator. Here are some locations near Geneseo...

http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/Locator.php ... =50#TheMap

You can adjust the range, or search for locations in a state, etc.

I am working on a new trip planning feature that will allow you to work out routes and timings to get to the various sites in the Locator. It is taking me a bit longer than expected, but I expect to be done in a few weeks. Unfortunately not in time for Geneseo. Make sure you look for us. We always have a good time.

Mike

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Thanks guys,

I'm planning the trip to take me through a bunch of aero-attractions, ones I have seen pretty much already but I like them anyway -like the Glenn Curtiss museum in Hammondsport.

I've been spending all my time working on the T-Bolt that I just got.
It needs some USAAF heritage -like a 400 knot ASI with a pitot tube... and a WWII oil pressure gauge -thats assumng that it has readable oil pressure.
