Each year, Aviation Week magazine (January 2008 issue) posts the know world military aircraft inventory list. The below are selected countries/aircraft from that list that are 'vintage':
Aregentina T-34 x 31
Bangladesh T-37 x 12
Bolivia T-34 x 22, AT-33 x 4
Chile T-37 x 12
Colombia A/T-37 x 18
ElSalvador A-37 x 9, O-2 x 9
Germany T-37 x 35
Greece T-2 x 45, A-7 x 90
Guatemala A-37 x 3
Honduras A-37 x 9
Iran F-14 x 20
Italy F-104 x 4
Mexico T-33 x 8
Morocco T-37 x 6
Pakistan T-37 x 14
Paraguay AT-6G x 2 *****WOW!*****
Peru A-37 x 10
Phillippines OV-10 x 14
South Africa C-47 x 11
South Korea A/T-37 x 50, O-1 x 2, O-2 x 8
Turkey T-37 x 55
Uruguay A-37 x 10, T-34 x 1
Venezuela OV-10 x 10

This is a very quick & dirty list (likely inaccurate), but for fun it was interesting to see what old aircraft are still out there. Many countries are still flying the F-5 and Mig-21. The eastern bloc countries are not listed because I don't know what are 'vintage', other than Mig-15/17s of which there were none.
Enjoy/add to this list,
VL

Interesting list, thanks for posting. Looks like the U.S. has the T-37 in common with those other countries.

Italy F-104 x 4

Unless wikipedia is wrong, the last Italian 104's retired in 2004.

That's pretty amazing that South Africa is still using the venerable C-47!

What are they using them for?

Regarding the Italian F-104s, I heard these were retained for a flying museum of sorts. Not sure how long they will be remain on flight status. Curious to see on the list, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if a few F-104s were kept around for various purposes... drones maybe?

Yes, the Starfighters in Florida did buy/rent/steal/borrow all the Italian F-104s except for those few the Italians retained. (I do not know the terms of their acquisition, but it is great that they got 'em! Also, do not know if the extras have arrived in the US already.)

Is there any current information on the Paraguay AF AT-6's?

I find a few references to them online...on picture on airliners of one on a pole...one European site says something about them going tho the US in 1991? It's in Danish

Most of them ie 12 + 1 BT-13 came to us about 10 years ago.
#0101 is Race 69 "Eros", and second is race 43 "Midnight Miss". 8 I believe were sold to Rob Poynton of Panama Jacks down under.

It is very curious that a well regarded magazine such as Aviation Week would list these AT-6s. Curious about the basis for their list compilation. Maybe just plain ole' old info? Or are these retained as flying museum pieces? Interesting.
Thx,
VL

I was surprised not to see more countries still using the C-47.

Yesterday, at Boeing Field in Seattle, there was an F10? that took off just as I got there. It looked like either a F102, or 106. I couldn't be sure as I saw it as it was leaving at a high rate of fuel consumption. Some guys I talked to later thought maybe a SAAB, but didn't see the telltale canards. Doess anyone have any other information?

The Draaken doesn't have canards and I think there are a few flyers.

http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/acftinqSQL.asp?striptxt=&mfrtxt=saab&modeltxt=&cmndfind.x=14&cmndfind.y=14

Look at J35F-2, F-35, S-35XD and SK35XD.

Pakistan's still operating the 0-1 Bird Dog, as well. The air force of Mali has a C-47, and Mexico still has a handful of Stearmans (PT-13/17 - all flying) in their inventory...
