I can remember the day John bought it! It happened right after the races in Reno, I got to help work on it and climb around it when it was in the shop. we had Lefty's airplane there as well. Those were the days!

Boy the F-86 in back ground brings back memories, We pulled the bird out of the crate, as we started to pull panels off of the airplane you should have seen some the dead bugs we found :shock: you talk about freaky looking! I just loved that camo on the F-86, it made it real hard to see when the airplane was flying low around the mountains out by Stead field in Reno.

Thanks for the photograph. I really like the Sabre, just looks cool sitting there. If your going to have a jet warbird the F-86, T-33 are about the best looking I think! Migs are cool as well.
