Robert Johnson has been a favorite since I read "Thunderbolt" when I was a kid. Great photo thanks for sharing it.

Me too. Loved that book. Should be required reading for all kids.

Somewhere, I've got a picture that I found somewhere on the net of Bob and Bud together - one of many times I'm sure - years later. They look to be in their early 60s, I'd guess. Maybe just that millisecond of the camera's exposure, but Johnson is just about to light up a smoke and has a look on his face that would scare me into NOT asking for his autograph  , while Bud ... well, I don't think Bud could frown if he tried. :D

Two of the greats 4-sure. 8)

Sweet photo Wade! You know I am partial to "Razorback Jugs" (even married one  )

Do you have any photos of the 60th FS of the 33rd FG in China 44 through the end of the war?

I'd be willing to talk about a commission if we can come up with the right stuff. (no pun intended) Might even extend that to P-38 & Jug combo as Pop flew both at the time.

Let me know as I have few images that are good enough but you are the "arteeest".

One more of RSJ, and a bonus kite from the 78th (83rd FS; Lt. Harding Zumwalt; "Superman" side art) ...

Mucho appreciated, my friend, but I'm not accepting commissions at present. Not being snobby, just don't have the time.

I can understand, but the question remains about the 60th FS of the 33rd FG. Any leads?
