Just wondering if there are any more B-29s left at China Lake: a couple years back, I was looking over China Lake with the MS Earth or whatever that one is, and found an aircraft sitting out in the middle of nowhere there, which looked just like a B-29, but with the right wing outboard of the #4 engine missing. (If I recall correctly). I just looked again, and couldn't find it- they are using newer photos, I guess, and perhaps it is no longer there.
I thought I'd throw this out to see if anyone had any news...
I did find one jet aircraft in the middle of nowhere- not sure what type, but it was white, looked like a B-1, and also looked broken...
