This is a great photo of Rex Barber of Yamamoto mission fame in the left seat of a B-25 in China in 1943. What;s with all the extra do-dads?? I can imagine a VIP B-25 in China in 43. BTW Rex Barber was a true hero and a great guy of the finest variety!!

Looks like they're about to hit an unseen hanger wall! <G>

Jack, I agree, had lunch with him about 20 years ago and a very nice guy!

Behind Rex (who I also met and enjoyed speaking with several years ago @ Yakima WA. at an airshow) on the bulkhead is the flare pistol. The soundproofing bulkhead cover behind Mr. Yi is a standard installation, Overhead are the standard issue sunshades that every B-25 came with from the factory, try flying a B-25 in the SWP or several other warm weather theatres without some form of protection from the sun 'do you smell bacon cooking?'

I'm curious as to the apparent abscence of a seatback for Lt. Yi. Could this possibly be a G or H model instead? Upon rotation, Lt. Yi would have to have great abs or he would quickly become Lt. Yi Ha...

(Lame humor - serious question)

Yi-Ha?!? It may be lame, but it did make me laugh (on a day where I can't find much humor). Thanks! :D

And good question. I didn't even notice that.

Gary

Ok, that was funny. Nicely played. :D (No idea if it's a G/H, though, sorry)

That appealed to my Brit sense of humour too! Nice one, as we say.
