I'm sorry this is just a link, but as its not my photo, I don't know how to post. Anyway, I had no idea that this aircraft was this close. The last photos I saw of it, it still didn't have the wings on. I love this airplane and am excited that it is almost back in the air.

Yes,it will be some sight to see two of these beauties back in the air together for the first time for sixty odd years. Looking forward to it.

Were they doing the engine runs when you saw it?!!! I'm jealous. On a side note, I love how all of the Fighter Collection aircraft seem to be restored to completely stock configuration. The few cockpit shots of their fighters I've seen seem to all lack any modern instrumentation and most (all?) have the gunsights. I love that!!!

No, it was an airshow day, so the Gladiator was tcuked up in the TFC hanger and it's engine was being fettled by one of the TFC engineers when I was walking around the hanger.

It was great to see the Nimrod in the air though..... 8)
