I am fortunate enough to call Lex my friend and he never fails to make me laugh nearly every day.
The drum of oil was found in a barn, but that other thing, he actually drives!
Maybe if he finds another warbird in some water, he can give the car to the navy and tell them "this is what it looked like after 60 years at the bottom!"

And as a plus, the paint scheme really confuses the eye witnesses and the cops-

Perfect car for todays gas prices. Wish I had my father's old Chevette or my brother's Vega...

I'm just surprised Mary even allows Lex some time behind the wheel of that pimped-out ride. 8)

I wish I could find a lil' 3 cylinder like that with the current gas prices... (Yes I'm pretty sure some Metro's like that were 3 bangers  )

Yep, Metros were three-cylinder machines--I was a service manager at a GM shop when they first appeared. Imagine the laughter when a bunch of guys used to working on 454s saw that little thing.

As far as that paint scheme, it looks like Lex adopted the WWI Navy dazzle scheme for stealth. 8)

Stop picking on his paint job- Don't you realize it is dark blue over light blue, just was hard to delineate as there was no wing to judge by: and the nose is red and white, to indicate squadron...

Course, does look like it may have been shot down...

I would just yank out the Data Plate and build a new one out of old tissue boxes, SPAM cans and a Lil Red Wagon.

Paper Mache is my fallback option
