Anyone know any Hellcat or Corsair pilots and contact info for this weekends airshow at Chino?

Sorry, wasn't specific enough, any current pilots who would possibly be flying a Hellcat or Corsair this weekend at the Chino airshow, not veterans.

Current or WW2 vintage pilots?

Do you want to do an interview, kiss their ring, or what?

So, you want your Dad's picture riding in a warbird during the show. How big is the pic? I can set that up in a FM2 Wildcat if that would do. Depending on how big the Pic is.

Hi Wayne, thank you very much, the pic is about 4 inches by 3 inches. very small, but very big in my world. My dad flew wildcats as well. PM me and I can call you and donate a good some towards your FM2. I think Mark Foster is interested as well, if he will be flying over the weekend.

Sheesh! And someone on this board accused me of not having a sense of humor...

Since you are so appreciative of my help, I'll tell you that all the pilots will be at the 9 am pilot's briefing on both Saturday and Sunday.

Hellcat - I will be flying the F6F from the CAF SoCAl Wing at Chino this weekend. I will be arriving with Jason Somes in the Zero Friday afternoon. Look me up and I will be glad to help out.

Thank you as well Ken, I certainly will look you up. I have the POF Corsair and a beautiful FM-2 ready to go and I would also love to try to have you take his photo up as well. If I could possibly get dad up in all three over the weekend I would be a happy man. Could I contact you by cell Saturday at sometime?. Maybe I could run over or you could run over to an area near the ropes and I can hand off Dad's photo. And a few bucks.

PM me if you think you could work it out. Thanks again.

PS, thank you all for the wonderful offers. I won't expect anything at all, but if by some chance we can work things out while you all are so busy, I'll be a happy guy. You can PM me for either your cell # or my cell #

PSS, the Collings B-24 just flew over my house. About 2,000 ft I would guess. Right over the ocean. Very cool. waiting for the B-17, B-25 to follow.
