The good old days at Arrowhead Aiport in St. Louis, Missouri. This is from an article in the October 24, 1975 Post Dispatch by Jack Rice with photo credit to Scott C. Dine. At the time, Arrowhead was the local hub for vintage and warbird aircraft. Check out John Gury's two Bearcats. The Tora Tora Kate and the Lycoming powered Stearman belonged to my father. Arrowhead was no Chino but it sure was a great place to grow up.
