A bit off topic directly but indirectly the resolve and manner of the following link, I think do apply here as this board is interested in the same matter...presevation. Preservation of history, culture, and data. For those that think some wrecks are too far gone or a certain aircraft will NEVER fly again....remember this, never is an awfully long time. Sit back get a cup of coffee and contemplate the magnitude of this project, the perseverance, the will and intestinal fortitude that these people have exhibited on a project that is everybit as difficult to accomplish and is as impractical as making a B36 fly. I say they deserve absolute applause and complete respectful recognition.
Remember...never say never.

Who is to say that someone with the resources may someday decide to back something like a B-36 flying restoration? Do you hear me, Paul Allen?

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.
