Greetings
Wow the Crew in Houston is doing a Awsome Job on Raiders cant wait to see her back in the Air ! I was wondering Will she have differnt War paint ? or will she pretty much be as we have always known her to be in the Classic OD Green ?
Keep up the Great work guys !! She was one of the two Air planes that got me involed in War Birds . Her and the B-23 Dragon almost 29 years ago

Please, please, please... If the good folks in Houston do decide to repaint her, I hope that they paint her nose art in a period style. That is, something that a talented airman-artist might have painted with a brush some foggy British morning.
A cow-girl takeoff of one of the CAF nose art collection panels would have an authentic feel and could be used to call attention to that collection... How about a copy of "Easy Maid", "Sleepy-Time Gal", "Sack Time" or "Night Mission" garnished with a cowboy hat, boots and Colt Peacemaker?

One thing for certain... she WILL need a "touch up!"
OD Green will be the scheme.
In addition to the bombs and "kill" swastikas I proposed this VERY weekend to add two silhouettes of vices.
Our team of crackheads has managed to break TWO vices since we moved over to Hobby!
The various camps start getting out knives when talk about changing the nose art is concerned BUT... I have seen a darned fine Vargas Girl proposal that will still be unmistakable as THE TEXAS RAIDERS.
Thanks for asking,

Here's hoping you break all of your vices, but none of your vises...
