Temple Airshow

I have to say that this weekends airshow was one of the most organized I have ever attended. At check-in the rooms and cars were arranged fuel was easy to get, oil was available and the pyro was some of the best I have ever seen! Great job Beth Jenkins, and the organizers of the Temple Airshow.

Glad to hear it went smooth for the performers Rick. My 9 year old and myself had a great time. The Vietnam demo was the highlight of the show, hands down for me!

I've got some pictures here at this thread, including a good one of you upon your landing, in case you haven't seen it:

Thanks for making it a great show!!

I'd take that as a VERY high-level recommendation considering your experience with airshows Rick. Kudos to the Temple crew!

I think it's encouraging to see people still out there striving to "do it right". With the cost of fuel, dwindling airshow numbers, and less voluntary pilot support these days... organizers like that should become the "rule" and not just a delightful exception.

You might want to consider posting a review at Airshowbuzz.com as well... spread the word!

I agree...the Vietnam event was very cool!

Nice to meet you Rick!

I will have to second Rick's observation from this weekend's show. It looked like Beth Ann had a good crowd, but it was hard to tell from where I am in the middle of the pyro field.

Rick: THANK YOU for bringing the airplane, we love having you overhead, you put on a great show, hope you liked your pyro shots! :D

See you in Midland!

Rick,
Also nice to meet you this weekend. Thanks for arranging for Dad to bring the DC-3, nice surprise. We too had a great time, we had our Harvard, T-6 and Pitts M-12 there. Sounds like several WIXers were there, wish i could have met up with more, we should have more logos out there.
Great job in the Spad too
take care

I know what you mean. We need to all wear WIX t-shirts or something so we can spot each other...
