our friends in the FAA will be looking for a way to ground all the Spitfires forever, "look two similar accidents lets ground them all...now how do we get rid of those darn mustangs"

Good grief, let's not give anyone any fodder for such a thought! If that were the case, then any Mooney or Piper Arrow would have been out to pasture long ago... anything with a retractable gear leads to possible problems.

In both cases, no one was hurt... let's be thankful for that.
