Another need for help from the WIX Brain Trust

Folks,
Slightly OT but a friend has a great collection of WWII stuff from his wife's Grandfather. The grandfather was an officer on Patton's staff through much of the war. There is a large folder full of original field orders and maps along with tons of communications generated by the staff. This covers training in Cal, landing and operations in North Africa and through France and Germany. He also planned Patton's funeral along with the trials for war crimes.
The question is whether any of you know of any museums or collections that focus on Patton or the Army units that he commanded?
If you wish feel free to PM me on this.
Thanks,
Rich

Agreed. The best place for those documents is the Patton Museum as they will be of the most value to them and it would be only fitting.

Been there quite a few times.......... Well worth the trip. At one time they had the prototype Cobra Chopper there and then it went somewhere else. Really cool, had retractible skids,,,,,,,,,,,, (I'm a chopper guy).

They have a lot of Patton stuff, like uniforms, guns, his command vehicle (kind of like a 6x6 communications truck (box on the back, he had his bunk and office there). Also had the car he died in (which was fixed and used for several more years).....

The prize were the pistols............. The three he really carried....

Thanks for the info.
It seems there are probably 3 places, TN as has been mentioned, Chirroco Summit in CA, and a newer museum in Luxemburg.
Thanks,
Rich
