B-17G s/n 42-38201 "2nd Patches" 346th BS 99th BG Italy 1944
Pretty soon this a/c with be NMF without having to strip any paint off :shock: :?
Baughter says 38201 modified to carry airborne lifeboat and used by 5th ERS

Now why isnt there a B-17 flying today with the half and half?

Looking as if she rose from the ashes from a far off mantience corner of an airfield from england?

I too wish a B-17 had a mixed up scheme of NMF and olive drab today. I love that sharks mouth on that chin turret too! Very neat. :D
