Meteor Tender

The Disposal Service Authority is pleased to offer interested parties a chance to bid for a Non Effective Gloucester Meteor, Tail Number XW800 by competitive Tender.

Please Note: A number of items have been recovered from XW800 including the engines (replaced with an un-serviceable engines). Various other miscellaneous parts including switches and instruments and compass are also missing. Please download and consult all the additional information.

Viewing Dates are: 6th - 10th May 2008 and these are to be arranged with the point of contact.

The closing date for tenders to be recieved at the DSA is: 10:00am Thursday 15th May 2008.

Note: There is a reserve price of £5,000 for this aircraft therefore bids below this figure will be rejected. This aircraft was a used as a drone in the Jindivik Trials at Llanbedar.
