Hey all,

Just wondering if there are any uniform collectors here on WIX???? I was at a Surplus store here in TN looking for Vietnam stuff and I came across some NEW Army Air Corps heating insulators for flying boots. Anyone need a pair????? I will pass on the deal I got to you or trade for some Vietnam stuff.

I've been collecting for years and my wife actually has more vintage uniforms than I do!

Yep, I've got the bug. Most of my stuff is WWII Luftwaffe.

Which type of electrical boots did you find?

Regards,
Mike

i collect uniforms / flight gear accessories etc, among other aviation memorabilia. that heated suit is probably a "blue bunny" suit, appropriately nicknamed!! but not a real desirable item in collecting circles. thanks for the heads up though!!

I used to have a world class collection of USAAF memorabilia including uniforms, helmets, etc. I even had my own Norden Bombsight. I lost about 90% of the collection in Hurricane Andrew. I did manage to save my A2's, some helmets, a couple of uniforms and a couple of other jackets.

I've got a summer dress uniform and a set of pinks and greens, with an Ike jacket. I wear the pinks pants all the time. They are the best dress pants I have ever had. The Mrs. thinks I am a little dorky for wearing 60 year old pants to weddings.

Also have a leather flying helmet.
