The Old Dominion Squadron/CAF is need of some help finding some parts to help finish their L-5/OY-1 restoration effort. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

1- Clamp (Exhaust Flange Assy)

p/n 76-55042

2- Fairing Installation Landing Gear Hinge

L-H p/n 76-41158-0
R-H p/n 76-41158-1

This request is also posted to the restoration page. Contact with other CAF operators is also ongoing.
Thanks,
Bob

You know, right after I emailed you Jim’s contact info this afternoon I was thinking to myself “This would be a good WIX post”...

Bob: Those fairings are almost unobtainium these days. If Jim at SOPA doesn't have any or know of any, the best bet is going to be to find someone with a set on the bench and get a set of plaster molds made and fab up a set. The other possiblility is finding a set of the split fairings and using them instead.

Thanks for the replies. WIX was always on my list of "cages to rattle", have seen some unanswerables get answered here. I am also getting some responses from the different CAF operators.
If any one has Jim of SOPA's contact data please PM me, so that I might add him to the hunt.
Thanks again,
Bob

Jim lurks on this board, and you can contact him readily if you just Google his Sentinel Club.
