I can't find one with this description in the Tora database...
Anyone know this airplane? Photographed at Waco 1986.
Thanks!

Description? I can't even find the airplane in the picture!

All I see is some funky control tower.

Could it be N65837 (Val EII-238) when owned by Tom Kelly in the same colors as he purchased
her from Rick Sharpe?

I think that may be the one that Rick Sharpe & Jeff Hefner used to fly.

Its N65837. Destroyed in a hangar fire in Conroe TX, June 1984. Tom Kelley owned it when that photo was taken in 1986 at CNW. I had taken a T-6G, N3166G, to that show that year.

A shame too!
The replica vals seem to be the cursed ones from the 20th Century Fox production. I dont think as many zeros or kates have been lost over the years. And wasnt a replica zero lost in this fire too?
