Ok guys, what warbirds today have you yet to see fly but always wanted to?

For me:

P-39
F4F
B-29
P-47
and a early P-40B or C.

Any A-26 besides Hard To Get. Great looking plane but i'd like to see some other ones too.

Also Barbie III. Seen her on the ground a few times but never in the air.

A-20 Havoc. It's always been one of my favorites. Never got to see the CAF bird, and now Lone Star's is going Down Under. Hopefully the one under restoration in New York State will get some air under her wheels in the next few years.

I was very privelaged to get to see Kermit Weeks' Marauder fly about ten years ago. He "dropped in" unannounced at Warbirds Over Kalamazoo on his way from Selfridge to Oshkosh. I understand she was grounded there after the engines started making metal..she was eventually ferried back to Florida, and I don't think she has flown since.

As for fighters, now that I've gotten to see a real live Bf-109 (Russell Group) I want to see an Fw-190 and Zero in flight. If we're gonna get nit-picky, I'd like to see a razorback P-47 in the air, and maybe a G-model Messerchmitt (preferably together, with the Jug on the 109's tail.) 8)

I've seen most everything so far, but I'd like to see Kermit's Marauder, an A-20 and some real Axis fighters with original engines flying.

Woah, my list is going to be long....

So I'll just limit it to WOW airplanes. In No particular order other than the Mosquito being my number one choice.

1.) de Havilland Mosquito
2.) Westland Lysander
3.) P-39
4.) B-29
5.) B-24
6.) Vickers Vimy
7.) Bristol Beaufighter
8.) Fairchild Bolingbroke
9.) (TRUE) A6M5 Zero
10.) (TRUE) Messerschmitt BF-109

Cheers,

David McIntosh
